HUMAN BODY SYSTEMS

Learners created an animation in Scratch software entitled “Human Body systems” to depict functions of each system through dialogues,sprites and coding blocks.

Ad poster !!

Grade 3 Learners saw a video on how important is to check the nutrition facts , manufacture date and expiry date on food covers when doing grocery shopping and also discussed on the different parts of an advertisement poster. Viewed sample ad posters and created a advertisement poster for a product or company in Ms Publisher by adding pictures, choosing different font styles in word Art.

GLOBAL MAPS

Grade V Learners created colorful presentation on “Global Maps” where they discussed about the changes that happened on Earth over the past decade and analysed the reasons  and factors for those changes.

India Map !

Grade 1 Learners had a brief look at the india map , identified states and neighbouring countries.  Using a web tool called ” mapsofindia” created a custom map and spotted 5 states and 5 nearby countries around india. Marked the state names and country names as text and coloured each state.

Chart!!!

Grade 2 Learners discussed about the how presentation of the data using graphs and charts  are done and why it is useful. Then they created Graphs using a immigration table of a set of countries with their immigrants numbers in a web based tool charts.livegap.com

 

EARTH ANIMATION GIF

Grade V learners created an interesting animation projects and converted them into GIF images. The project was based on the Parts of Earth.

HUMAN MIGRATION FACTORS !!

Grade 2 Learners Analysed the Push and Pull factors of human migration and related to the real time reasons as to why people move to a new place. They used web tool called “” and added the factors against the two boxes drawn naming PUSH & PULL FACTORS. They also added pictures related to the factors through the same web tool directly from the web

 

Newspaper & Comics

Grade 3 Learners wrote a Newspaper article  after watching a report on an incident that gets reported through a web based tool ” Learn Alberta”.  They added title, caption and right picture for the story based on the incident and described the whole event. They also created comic strips to express their ideas to the audience using their imagination and creativity. They gave a title for the comic , added characters and voice bubbles making it more interesting and fun.

 

ADDRESS !!

Grade 1 Learners had a quick discussion on their residence location and town or place where it is located. Then they created a project on “where I live” in kidspiration tool by typing apartment name, place it is situated and added city state & country. Also added pictures to make it look colourful.

BIRTH OF THE EARTH

Grade V Learners created a process diagram on a tool called Popplet where they explained the formation of Earth,our planet in detail through text and pictures.
