Grade IV learners were introduced to Ms-EXcel tool and created a Budget chart based on their Basic Income by inserting chart in powerpoint . They allocated money for their expenditure and calculated the savings. They also made a presentation where they reflected on their case study about supply & demand by going through an online simulation tool on the Sales of Burritos and the influence of the increase in its price on supply and Demand.
Grade 4 oakridgers did interactive acitivities on the understanding about Goods and Services in Econedlink website and reflected in Kidspiration by placing pictures They added text describing about the goods and services.
Grade 3 learners created a Powerpoint on an organisation of their choice. They wrote about its vision mission and their work in detail. They also added transition , animation effects , related images along with snipped image of that organisation’s webiste in the presentation.
Grade 3 Oakridgers learnt about organisational structure of a company or office. they chose a company or organisation of their choice and made a chart structure of that company in kidspiration tool. They also referred to various pictures of organization chart in google images.
Grade 3 Oakridgers watched a 3 min video on an NGO AVIVAand their objectives with respect to solving world problems. Later they reflected their observation on online wall called padlet.com added pictures listing the problems and solution given by this organization.
Grade 1 Learners created a Mind Map about Conflict and peace in an online tool brainpop.com with pictures and textual data.
Grade II learners created Water cycle diagrams using in Tux paint. They wrote down the different process involved in the Water cycle along with pictures , text and added shapes & background colors.
Grade 4 Learners were introduced to Ms one note software. They did online interactives on various properties and characteristics of Sound, Light and its behavior in Interactives weebly.com simultanoeuly they made interesting notes on their observations using MS One Note Software by adding text, shapes and images.
