Grade 1 Learners kickstarted planning the topic and tools that’s going to be used for their Oaktech week projects. They had brief discussions on the topic in assigned groups and beginned the first level of preparation for the project.
Grade 4 Learners created a waste segregation diagram on an online diagram maker tool called SlateBox. They learnt to add child nodes from parent nodes to form a diagram and used pictures to show examples for various types of wastes
Grade 1 Learners were shown picture that depicts the difference between solar and lunar eclipses. They made a diagram in the picture view of Kidspiration tool on solar and lunar eclipse by identifying the positions of sun,moon and earth and described the process.
Grade II learners created an imaginary city by understanding the word “Infrastructure” and added various elements to their city. They also gave a name to the city and included details about the residents.Grade II learners also created a community of Musical Island where they added roads,greenery and houses using an online tool called Isle of Tunes to have a bird eye view of a simple community.
Grade V Learners created interesting Infographic diagrams on “Carbon Footprint”, explaining the factors that increase the carbon content in the atmosphere.
Grade V Learners created Food chain and food web diagrams by adding and labeling the consumers, producers and predators. The interconnection between various organisms were also denoted using flow lines.
Grade 4 Learners were introduced to Ms publisher software. Were taught how back ground color, pictures, word art, text boxes can be added and about formatting tools. They created a poster on Reduce reuse Recycle concepts and some created posters on the 3 Rs.
