Grade 5 Oakridgers revisited Scratch coding concepts through Scrach.Mit.Edu platform They were able to create Scratch accounts online and explored few Scratch projects online, remixed and created their own animations online.
Learners researched on different types of government in Mocomi.com and refered a PPT. Later they reflected their understanding on one of the government listing its facts, pros and cons of it in a graphic organizer.
Grade 4 learners were Introduced to StoryBird story maker tool. They were given a theme and were asked to make stories/poems/picture books conveying their thoughts and emotions through digital story-telling. They were able to build their imaginary story with only the images listed under a chosen theme.
Grade 3 learners were introduced to Coding concept and the role of coding in the creation of applications, software bundles and websites. They Practiced on Coding Exercises by having a fundamental understanding of creating a simple animation through drag and drop blocks in code.org
Grade 1 Oakridgers were introduced to Kidpix Tool and learnt about drawing basic Shapes,Typing and Coloring. Later they created relationship diagram on Parts of computer and added pictures from its library
Grade 2 learners created an online character scrapbook in ” Character Scholastic.com” where they wrote about their personal choices,likes and dislikes.
Learners from Grade I to V practised Math Problems on Mindspark tool after understanding the purpose of the tool and the procedures to be followed while logging in using their user credentials.
Learners from Grade 1 to Grade 5 were shown a video that showed Digital Etiquettes and acceptable behavior in the ICT Lab. They completed working on their ICT Pre-Assessment Quiz on Kahoot tool to check their prior knowledge in Technology and also the Laptop numbers assigned to them.
